Galaxy False Aralia

One of the most enchanting sights that you can see in your whole life is the galaxy that all together is called Aralia. It has a kind of beauty and magic in it, but if you are not careful, you can be fooled easily with something like this. Sometimes people don’t notice this until they stumble upon it firsthand.

The Galaxy False Aralia is a bamboo-like plant that has prehensile stems. It can grow very fast and can be more than six feet high. It has many branches that are thin and long. The flowers are small, white and sweetly scented. It has bright green leaves that have some distinctive patterns on it. Galaxy False Aralia Is A Cool Looking Plant

Galaxy False Aralia is mostly used for ornamental purposes. It has a very cool looking, can be grown quickly and it is easy to take care of. You don’t need to water it often and should not be left moist for long time, because then it will rot.

Only if you want to grow this plant for yourself or for an ornament purpose, you can use the usual way of planting. But if you want to grow this for commercial purposes, you should use the air-layering technique. This way will be faster for large scale production than the usual method.

You can just put the plant in a medium size pot and use the propagation medium. You should keep it moist and make sure it is still warm. In three to four weeks, roots will come out from the nodes of the stem. After that harvest a portion of bark from your plant and put it on medium size pot filled with soil.

How do you care for a galaxy False Aralia?

1. You will have to keep the soil moist and make sure that the medium has enough water.
2. When you see that the shoots come out of your plant, it is time to transplant them. You should do this as soon as they are a few inches in length, because if you don’t, they will go back into their roots and die.
3. Start with checking on them every two weeks. Make sure that you do it at least once a week because the plant will be very weak if you don’t take care of it.

5. You should water them once in a while, but make sure that you give them enough drainage.
6. This plant is mostly used for the indoor purpose and can be grown indoors in pots or plants with mist system on it. However, if you want to grow this outdoors, you should check with your local authority about the salt tolerance of your area because this plant is known to be salt sensitive and in some areas can die due to the salt water content.

How To Grow galaxy False Aralia?

1. Find a medium size container that has drainage system in it.
2. Fill it with a rich and well draining potting soil.
3. Fill another medium sized pot with propagation media for air layering technique
4. Now put about 6-7 inch tall plant in the center of the pot with holes on it.
5. Put your medium size pot with propagation media in the bottom of the pot with drainage holes on it.
6. Fill the medium size pot with propagation media until it is an inch or two below the top of the pot.
7. Now cover your medium sized plant in an inch or two of pebbles, shells, stones and anything that can hold moisture inside but won’t overly drain.

Should you mist a False Aralia?

You should mist your plant when it is in the propagation period, but after that you should not because it will rot from the roots up.

You should water them once in a while and make sure that you give them enough drainage. This plant can grow huge so make sure that your pot has enough room to grow and empty itself of excess water. You don’t have to worry about over watering, because this plant can handle quite a lot of moisture at once. You can use ordinary water whenever you want to.

The name false Aralia is not the one most commonly found when people search for it because in fact there are many different species of aralias and they come in various shapes and sizes.
